Former mayor of Centerton charged with using dead man's SSN
Prosecutors say the former mayor of the northwest Arkansas city of Centerton used a dead man's Social Security number as his own.
Former Mayor Bruce Kent Williams has been charged with felony forgery. Prosecutors say that on several documents, Williams used the Social Security number of another Bruce Kent Williams, who died in 1958.
Also, years ago, the former mayor went by the name Don LaRose. Forgery carries a prison sentence of 3 to ten years.
